The Special-Cutting of the drag cam gives the 50WLRSA a much wider usable range of drag pressures. Directly out of Free-Spool the drag starts up soft and gradually increases up to 44lbs at full drag. It is just the right size for offshore trolling or fishing for medium to large sized pelagics such as Tuna, Sailfish, Mahi, and Mako.
